By now, you must own at least a pair of over the knee boots, also know as OTK. If not, than you are missing out cause it has never been more critical for your fall and winter wardrobe! You must invest in a good pair of over the knee boots. Stuart Weitzmans are literally my favorite (and among other bloggers, stylists and celebrities) —and it’s no wonder. They’re an investment piece for sure, but I just bought my second pair and I can't get enough.

I just added this prettiest shade of grey "Thighland" boot – the 2 1/4 inch block heel is the perfect middle ground between the high-heeled OTK boot and the flat boots. I am 5'8" and let's just say I don't have skinny legs, but these hit well above over the knee and skim right under the thigh where it gets larger - making your legs look super long and slimming. The pointed toe ads that extra chic look as opposed to the rounded Lowland.

I love the look of dresses with over-the-knee boots so while the seasons are still transitioning it’s the perfect excuse to procrastinate putting those dresses away by adding cozy knits like I did.

Fall is a fashion girl's dream. Which mean it's my dream come true. Between leather pants, sleek ankle booties, and cozy sweaters thrown over button down shirts, there's enough sartorial inspiration to make even the most seasoned style maven swoon.

I've dived head first into my stash of cozy knitwear. But high on my list? Not-so-basic knitted sweater with built-in layers. The one I am wearing is from Asos (unfortunately it's sold out), but this one from H&M is just as amazing. It makes layering easier than ever with crisp contrast shirtail hem that skims effortlessly over jeans...or leather moto pants, in my case. I styled it with these easy to wear booties from Qupid.

It's just as easy to layer your knitted sweater with any oversized button down shirt. But I love ease of the built-in polish layers perfect for busy workweek mornings. Bring on the sweater weather and falling leaves!

Freezing for the sake of fashion is a big no-no especially where there are so many cute parkas to be had! It's the heavier version of the classic anorak.
