I know, it's not technically winter yet. But I am already suffering from the woes of winter skin.  I can't seem to win between the harsh arctic winds, frigid temperatures, and dry indoor heat. Oh yes. Dry, flaky, cracking, chapped, wrinkly-looking skin. Luckily, I have just the perfect remedy. The key aspect to getting our skin back to its soft and glowing nature is to actually exfoliate.

I'm using Visage De Layla Glycolic Cleanser (derived from natural sugars) to gently exfoliate my dull skin. It contains green leaf & licorice extract which conditions, tones, and brightens the skin. You might think it makes it more dry but it actually helps removes the dead flaky skin, allowing moisturizer to penetrate down deep.  But don't go too crazy with exfoliation, once or twice a week, will do.

Don't forget to masque up once or twice a week to give your skin a treat. I am currently using a Milk & Honey firming masque. Milk is a great exfoliator since it contains lactic acids which break down dead cells hence softening them for easy removal. Honey is a gentle exfoliator and moisturizer. When combined, milk and honey are highly antibacterial help to cleanse skin deeply.

After cleansing/exfoliating, it's time to get loved up by coconut oil. I apply a bit of organic virgin coconut oil as a natural moisturizer. And start to daydream about Koh Samui, Thailand... Eff, I'm still here?

I also drink a plethora of water and tea. Sometimes I mix a teaspoon turmeric powder to a cup of warm almond milk and drink it for that moisturized glow. I have literally watched my skin turn from dull to well, doll!

Hope you stay warm and glowing my beautiful friends.

Fresh off the runway from Milan to Los Angeles, tassel embellishments are hot trend in fashion. Why not have one on hand at all times? Enter  BC PRINT SHOP.

I'm swooning over my gold tassel keychain & customized Gypsy Tan tag, these amazing metallic tattoos, and Free People cuff available here. It makes for great thoughtful & affordable Birthday and Christmas gifts. I'm thinking getting "best bitches"..welp, for my best bitches. I like it.

With my vision and her talent, Chantel from deer, Ivie and I created the one and only deer antler body chain. I'm totally obsessed with the piece. Don't worry people, no Bambi's were harmed in the making. They are made from natural shed deer antlers. Little fun fact: Male deer (bucks) grow new antlers each year and baby fawns take their first steps within half an hour of their birth.

Remember the good old days when we got so excited to unwrap bubble gum, not actually for the gum, but to apply the temporary tattoos from the wrappers. Well these days, we can have the same fun with metallic, glow-in-the-dark tattoos. But these aren’t like the temporary tattoos we had as kids, where we haphazardly slap on anywhere we wanted and called it a day. Think of it as dainty gold and silver body jewelry—in the form of stenciled-on delicate chain bracelets, midi-rings, and festival-ready feathers that shine your skin! The trick is to go really subtle and mix with some real jewelry, instead of trying a blown-out arm or ring party. It's such a great way to accessorize without feeling the weight of all the jewelry. I know I will be gifting these as stocking stuffers and  most definitely rocking these on New Years Eve.. so my friends and I can shine through the day and Glo at night!

My favorite 4-letter word that packs a powerful punch. No, it isn't one that TV censors would rush to *bleep* out, nor the one that makes you feel all sentimental. Satisfaction takes on a different meaning involving the lovely 4-letter word usually in red -SALE. I must confess, I am a shopaholic but not that the filthy rich kind that can close both eyes and sign off big ticket items without wincing a bit. I don't just shop, I shop for sales- resisting impulse buys as I patiently hope my favorite big ticket items would go on sale. Then those items go from costing 'an arm and a leg' to 30% discount to 50% -that’s when I grab them and feel really smug about myself. Like these One Teaspoon Bandit cutoff shorts that went from $110 to $55! So stress less, distress more and stock up. In sun-deprived Seattle, I am summer dreaming, as I am ready to rock this on my next vacation to Mexico... These 4 pieces are definitely vacation essentials. Estoy listo para México!

Every time I wear this Navajo inspired bull horn necklace, I get stopped to ask "where did you get that necklace from?" So here it is.. check BlyDesign △▼△: all beautifully handmade by the wonderful Katie Bly, a fellow Taurus babe, in Northern Carolina. How is it possible that I want every single item she makes. Ahhh... if only my wallet would obliged. She's going places and I am glad I could support her on her way to the very top of the fashion/desginer world. Original and well made: most of her pieces have her signature BlyDesign hand-poured opal pendant (my favorite stone). I will definitely be adding her rings and cuffs to my Christmas wish list. What are some of your favorite pieces?

Be sure to follow her on Instagram as well where she does a great job showcasing her pieces.xx
