I was so intrigued when LA Caldwell from Minnie + Gorge asked me to be a part of her look book where each featured product from her Spring collection would be modeled by a different fashion blogger. When I finally checked out her website and products, I was no longer intrigued but enthusiastic! Yes her pieces are gorgeous but what I love most is the quality and the simplicity of the timeless pieces she stitches. I can't even stitch a simple hole in my jeans so I am always in awe when someone can make a high quality leather good from scratch.

I obviously said yes and couldn't wait to get in on this look book project and felt so lucky to be a part of the 10 chosen ones, so to speak. The look book project is a 10 day event, which began yesterday, April 27th, culminating in the finished digital look book on Friday, May 8th. I encourage everyone to go on her blog to find the schedule and follow each blogger to see Minnie + Gorge Spring Collection unfold. I know I will be counting down the days in excitement to see the final look book. It's like 12 days of Christmas for artisan bag lovers.. 10 Days of Minnie + Gorge.

When it comes to skincare I'm sort of at a loss. There are so many products out there that it is hard to choose ones that are perfect for my lifestyle, skin type, and ethnicity. Personally, I tend to have dryer skin, I have my makeup on all day, I always get one naughty pimple when TOM (time of the month) wants to play, and my complexion really needs help. Oh not to mention, I need to keep my skin lifted, firm, protected, hydrated, and exfoliated. Is there one miraculous ingredient that does it all? We can't be fooled by trendy ingredient of the month that promises to 'do it all.' The key to having beautiful skin is having a range of brilliant products. Our skin requires a balanced diet of beneficial ingredients that needs to be tailored to each person.

When I was contacted by Enza Essentials skincare experts to put together a  regime based on my skintype, pH levels, ethnicity, and lifestyle I was more than excited. The first thing I noticed about the brand is that it was created by a plastic surgeon, Dr. Joseph Rucker who has worked on beautifying skin for over 30 years, has appeared in numerous media, and has acted as a celebrity skin consultant at the 2012 Academy Awards in Los Angeles. Celebrities would know a thing or two about having good skin! This opportunity really jumped at me but I told them I will only write a review if I was truly happy with the products and results!

Well.. here I am writing this post. I have been using the products for 2 straight weeks and I see such a positive change in my skin already. As I unboxed the Enza package I was surprise to find 8 products, a folder with 9 sheets of paper, and a dark chocolate minty bar (they know how to sweetena girls heart). Instructions were included for my specific skin care regimen. It also include not only a full list of ingredients of the 8 products but it also described what those ingredients really do for our skin. I can really appreciate that most of the ingredients were natural and and made up of words in the English dictionary (not science gibberish).

Overall Enza has wonderful customer service, great products, I will definitely continue to use these products on a long term basis!

What better way to spend a sunny spring day then with beautiful friends and tulips? The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is definitely worth the one hour drive from Seattle. Christina, Christine, and I jumped in my car drove to Mount Vernon to catch a glimpse of the wonderful tulips. There are two farms you can visit (we visited Roozengaarde, the 'bigger' of the two). It wasn't as big and grand as I thought it would be but nevertheless it was still spectacular! The sun was sunning, I had amazing company, the fields were super colorful, and well who am I kidding, I drove there for the PHOTO OPS!

The big fields with rows and rows of tulips only had 4 different colors (pink, purple, red, and orange) as far as I could tell. But the entrance/garden had all the varieties and there have a little make-shift make-shift coffee tent, store, and flower exhibit (which was picked through when we went). Go on a weekday to avoid traffic and crowds. Remember to stop and smell the... tulips.

I'm over here coachillin' in Chelan as the festivities kicked off in California this past weekend! I was experiencing some serious FOMO after stalking #coachella on Instagram and trying to live vicariously through their Snapchats (so much food, stacks of jewels, and cut off denims). Some opposers say what was initially intended to be a celebration of music has degenerated into a "weird marriage of fashion and commerce." They can hate but for me I still love seeing everyone ditch their pumps for a pair of lace-up sandals and or fringe booties and embrace the sun in full bohemian style! Kendall Jenner nailed it on both days and I religiously stalked Rocky Barnes, Sincerely Jules, and Song of Style (I was sad that Vanessa Hudgens couldn't attend). From Fergie's playful fringe vest to Huntington-Whitele's gorgeous Chloe dress, see my top celeb looks at Coachella 2015.
