So, I always written these blog posts but I am always wondering if people are even reading it. I am going on a different approach from now on out and write as if nobody's reading - kind of referencing "dance like nobody's watching" (not sure if I can apply to writing but what the heck). Instead of writing a bunch of nothing, I am going to start blogging about the pros & cons (if any) of each item I am wearing.

Let's start with this colorblock sweater. I love the slouchy fit and the deep side slit which allows easy tucking into a high-waisted skirt like the one I am wearing here. I would recommend sizing up for this skirt if you have a bigger waist and as you can see it is a bit short so if you're not into showing off them stems, it's not for you. And if you love a Chloe but can't afford it, this bag is a great dupe. Now last but not least, these booties!!! I am totally obsessed! Few reasons: the square toe shape, tortoise shell heel details, fits like a glove, and I can attest it is super comfortable and the leather is super soft and easy to keep clean! Fits true to size and goes with pretty much everything! I would definitely recommend these booties to everyone who loves quality shoes! I'm impressed!

Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort was a recommendation from a friend - and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We went in snow-covered January, so the cozy log cabin style and resort amenities were perfect for a winter getaway. It isn't right in the town of Leavenworth, but close enough that you can give downtown Leavenworth the half-day trip it merits, but you're not suck in the middle of the tourist trap. Instead you'll get to experience the beautiful cabin-like rooms that are situated in quads out among the trees on their sprawling site. Drive a little further down Icicle Creek and you can get to some of the best hiking and snowshoeing in Washington. It was so beautiful walking along the hotel paths with all the snow. One of the best parts was the outdoor hot tub! It was among the rocks by the spa.

The room was nice and rustic looking to fit the location. Note that this is not a luxurious, plush resort which pampers its guests. It is a eco-friendly, artistically well-designed experience which we found quite satisfying. Loved the loft space and all the wood used in the construction. Little trials connected all the different buildings. It was a real winter wonderland experience.

The meals are great, the crackling of the wood burning in the stone fireplace adds a calming white noise at the Kingfisher Restaurant & Wine Bar. It is served buffet style so try to pace yourself ;) It offers great variety for people with food allergies, vegetarians, and regular meat-eaters.

Gorgeous location, comfortable cabins, and good food-what more could you want? How about a 25% discount? Get 25% off the room rate of the Great Escape package for Friday stays this month, January 15, 22, 29. Just need to call Sleeping Lady and mention my blog, Gypsy Tan to claim the discount!

Thank you Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort for hosting me. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own of course.

The first thing you'll notice is that this is a really sexy mini-bag. But did you know it's a Camera Bag? So excited to introduct to you The Colt, my newest camera bag from THEIT. I was able to carry around my camera all weekend without looking like a total dork! It's not only functional but compliments our lifestyle. Who wants to lug around an ugly black nylon bag anyways? Certainly not us fashion bloggers!

Beautiful sculptures accentuate the woods and ponds as we meander our way between our room, hot tub, game room, library, spa, bar and restaurant.
