It's a long road ahead especially having to walk it in these killer high-heel suede sandals from Steve Madden. Just kidding. Seriously though, these are one of my favorite heels. They come in many colors and obviously I got them in taupe. The suede is really great quality, per-usual. The fit is a bit small (so size up especially if you have wider feet) but they are very comfortable! The straps are thicker (and so sultry) therefore they won't fall down. There's a long road ahead, so choose your shoes wisely ;)

Definitely stocking up on this adorable green wool hat, and never can enough of these amazing Zella leggings & romper.
I made the mistake of leaving some of the items I wanted in the cart for a couple days. When I finally made the plunge to purchase I received a very disappointed email from Nordstrom that the items were sold out! So girls, learn from my mistake and if you see an item you want.. BUY IT! The best thing about Nordstrom is that you can always return it without any hassle as they send an pre-paid return label with your purchase.

They say women apparently dress to impress other women. I have to admit there is some truth to that. I remember spending hours in front of a mirror on Saturday nights with my girlfriends in mind as I was deciding what to wear. Not because I wanted to "out-do" my friends, but I wanted to make sure I dressed similar and not over or under dress. But honestly, the most genuine compliments I receive comes from women I don't know – not men. It makes sense as women are much more in the know when it comes to clothes, make-up and style, so it’s not a surprise that we go out to impress other women as opposed to men.
People have an image of themselves they want to maintain. Not in a negative way, just the way they perceive themselves and the person they want to be. It feels good to feel like you look good. At the end of the day, whether you dress with your peers or guys in mind, I think we all do it for ourselves and our self esteem. This is perfectly okay. So dress up, dress down, be naked.. just feel good and do good. Cheers my friends.

As I look at these pictures I am reminded about how random our weather has been. We had a few weeks of 90 degree weather in March and now in July, I am having to wear OTK boots and faux leather jacket. Thank goodness for this easy-breezy super soft chambray dress which keeps me warm and cool all at the same time. Loving all of YMI Jeansproducts. Their prices are on point but the material are luxuriously soft. Like seriously cuddly soft.
Summer days seem long but the months sure are short. One minute it's Friday night and then in the blink of an eye it's July! Oh you cruel, cruel world. But good news! It's practically the weekend. I have some friends coming over to Chelan to drink, eat, and you better believe I'll be having some fun.
