SHOES: Matisse Footwear. I can't tell you how many pairs of Matisse I own.. and I love every single pair! The fringe ones and the cow hair ones are my new favs! Their Coconuts collection is cheaper but the quality is just as good in my opinion. {True to size. Comfy. Amazing quality. Price is right.}

JEAN: I loveeeee Blank NYC jeans. They are super great quality, cuts, fits true to size, they DON'T stretch out. Most of all - they are reasonably price in terms of higher-end jeans. These are my fall/winter go-to styles as see in my #ootd above.

They came on the scene in the mid 2000s and took over high school halls, college campuses, and our parent’s bank accounts. Slightly expensive, but they were obviously totally worth it. Our only options then were tall or short, or dark brown, tan, or cream. These fur-lined boots may have been popular but there were (are) definitely lots of negative feedback along side with them. Nicknamed as “UGG-ly”, I'll admit, the classics are a bit shapeless and way bulky. Regardless, I have always had a pair since 2003. The best go-to shoes to throw over jeans or sweats, for grocery runs, errands, traveling, heading to yoga.

Since then UGG has definitely stepped up their game, so to say. Lots of new designs, and they also made improvements to the classics. I received this Limited Edition Abree in rust. Ladies, get ready to fall back in love with UGGs! It is more stylish, sleek, less bulky, and even has more support! The inside fur is not as thick which I love (buh-bye smelly feet). Loving this rust color to go with all my fall go-to neutral belted coat (only $35!).

What do you think: do you love or hate these wear-with-anything, 'boots with the fur'?

I'm not even trying to toot my own horn, but I pride myself on having one of the softest skin. It's part inherited (thanks Mom) and mostly because I am OCD about putting lotion on. Not exaggerating- I moisturize my legs, arms, and hands about 10 times a day. You know how some people cringe at the sound of nails on chalkboard? I get the same feeling about dry skin.

After coming home from sunny Mexico, I ended up with some over sun exposed, peeling skin. My arms and legs had a layer of dry skin just screaming at me like, "HEY EXFOLIATE & MOISTURIZE ME!". I didn't want to spend a bunch of dough on store-bought scrubs (and plus I want to use all natural ingredients). Of course I know about DIY scrubs - but ain't nobody got time for that. Luckily, Pura Vida Body Scrub had sent me a pack of their organic coffee body scrub to try. I started using the product last week, first in a bath and then every other day in the shower for a week. Here's the scoop:

Ingredients:
organic coffee , 100% organic extra virgin coconut oil, sea salt, organic brown sugar

The Result:
While the ingredients read more like a Starbucks drink, the caffeinated mixture sloughed away all my dead skin cells, making it glow-y and scrumptious.  The caffeine in coffee grounds is a genius way to reduce cellulite. The caffeine absorbs into your skin and dehydrates the fluid in those pesky cellulite areas, so your skin is (temporarily) tighter and firmer. I love that after stepping out of the bath/shower, I can still feel the coconut oil on my body (without it being over whelming). You already know that coconut oil is like the 8th wonder of the world. We covered the benefits here. Plus, the smell of coffee is one of my favorite things ever.

The Verdict:
I really LOVE and believe in this product.  Love the waxed packaging to protect the product from getting wet and the resealable top. I think you guys are going to love this too!

Handcrafted from start to finish, every boot in the FREEBIRD by STEVEN collection is made from premium leather, and finished with extreme attention to detail. I can feel the quality of the shoes with every step I take. It is amazing! Also rocking this amazingly silky kimono from Gypsy Soul Designs, a bohemian lux collection. I always feel like I am sort of cheating when wearing kimono because it is so comfy and yet chic. I will just pretend it is my cape.. sort of like a Gypsy Cape...with some gorgeous OSHAN Jewelry as my weapons, aka embellishment to this boho-chic look :) BTW, noticed anything different? I think this is the first blog post of me wearing pants I have done since the Spring! No more shorts shorts but excited for lots of comfy distressed jeans, booties, swaeter, and knee-high boots! I just bought these super cute pair of distressed jeans. Super affordable and just enough stretch.

ps - my adorable boyfriend, Leif, took these pictures. He's a fast learner, I am super proud of him! xo

I have a firm opinion that twice as much denim is twice as good; hence my outfit post today. Just make sure you don't wear a denim outfit that’s all the same weight or wash. You don’t want to look too matchy matchy. I like to elevate my outfit with boho-looking items including gladiator sandals, fedora, and also add a pop of color with a lippie. I am wearing Memebox's new "I AM LIPSTICK" line. I have a really hard time finding lipsticks that stay on all day and I am amazed by this brand so far!!

There’s something inherently formal about a pencil skirt’s fit that makes it really easy to dress up. Just add pumps and a blouse, and you’re done. We all know how to dress them up, especially for work, but I am all about dressing them down (cause I like to get down like that). Honestly... I just have no reason to dress that formal but they can still be great closet piece to wear, even on casual days! Pairing it with ankle booties are super casual and give off a very laid back vibe. Find these western boots at Windsor for only $42.90! I love finding a pair of shoes that are affordable but look designer. I also just added this long sleeve bodysuit that is a MUST-HAVE piece! I usually wear a medium but got a large and it fits perfectly. You will definitely be the Beyonce of the group when wearing this bodysuit. *flicks hair*

I hate to say it, but I am so OVER summer. All the wildfires in Washington this past month has got me looking forward to fall.  I love transitioning all my summer rompers, like this lace piece from SheIn.com, into fall with a great pair of boots and a lightweight outer layer. Rompers are a hassle when we want to use the bathroom - but are amazing if you like putting no effort into your outfit and also looking ridiculously chic.
